An Austin woman was injured in a two-car crash at the Mower County and Dodge County line Thursday.

Janet G. Roberts-Valek, 69, of Austin was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer northbound on Highway 56 when it and a 2011 Ford Econoline van collided at the county line road, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Roberts-Valek was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for injuries not believed to be life threatening.

Kimberly D. McGhee, 44, of Dodge Center was driving the van, but was not injured.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
