New Life Band

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin will host the New Life Band for its 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services on Sunday.

The eight-member African vocal group from Tanzania sings a wide range of music accompanied by African drums. The band’s interdenominational ministry seeks to transform the lives of youth within Tanzania through the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are specifically raising funds to finish and furnish classrooms at a local high school in Arusha, Tanzania.

The band has been touring in the United States since August and will have performed at churches in California, Wisconsin and Minnesota before the group returns to Africa at the end of November.
