The Blooming Prairie volleyball team was sept by Medford (1-1 overall, 1-0 Gopher) by scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-23 in Medford Tuesday.

Sophomore hitter Sam Wurst led BP (0-2 overall, 0-1 Gopher) with nine kills and seven blocks and Bria Baldwin added 20 digs.

“Medford’s scrappy and they picked up a lot of balls,” BP head coach Ranell Kittelson said. “We had some good offensive things going on. I think we improved on our serve receive and our block.”
