Sears is set for a grand opening this weekend.

The longtime Austin business is celebrating its new location at 1300 18th Ave. NW with a grand opening event Friday and Saturday, which includes various sales on store items.

The first several customers who arrive at the store on Saturday will receive a $10 gift card. In addition, the Austin High School Trap Shooting Team will sell hot dogs as part of a fundraiser for the team. They will be on hand starting at 11 a.m. Friday.
