The Austin girls soccer team got off to a slow start as it lost 3-0 at Mankato Loyola (2-0 overall) Saturday.

The Packers (1-1 overall) had trouble finding energy in the first half, but they played much better in the second half, according to head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo.

“We didn’t play very well in the beginning,” he said. “In the second half we were more aggressive, but Loyola has a good team and they scored two amazing goals, where there was nothing we could’ve done to stop them.”
