A Rose Creek woman may have set her shed roof on fire Wednesday while she burned several items in the yard.

Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May said Rose Creek firefighters put out the flames at the 21600 block of State Highway 56 shortly after they responded at about 1:42 p.m. Firefighters believe a stray ember from the nearby flames may have started the shed fire.

The roof suffered light damage from the flames and there is no estimated loss.
