Mayo welcomes new providers in Austin and Albert Lea

Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and Austin recently welcomed Dr. Madhu Bagaria to OB/GYN on the Austin campus, Dr. Awani Deshmukh to the hospitalist department on the Austin campus, Dr. Pramod Guru to the hospitalists department on the Austin campus, and Dr. Sandeep Jain to the oncology departments on both the Albert Lea and Austin campuses.

Bagaria_DeshmukhBagaria received her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College at the University of Dehli in New Delhi, India, and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University in Detroit. Deshmukh will see patients in the hospital on the Austin campus. She received her medical degree from NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Nagpur, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Guru.JainGuru will see patients in the hospital on both the Albert Lea and Austin campuses. He received his medical degree from Sriram Schandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital Cuttak, in Odisha, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, and at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He currently is a resident at Mayo Clinic and an instructor at Mayo Clinic’s College of Medicine.

Jain will see patients in the oncology departments on both the Albert Lea and Austin campuses. He received his medical degree from the University of Rajasthan’s Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at Temple University’s St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and an immunotherapy fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. Jain recently completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
