Eric John Isenor, 64, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Monday, July 13, 2015, at his home.

He was born Jan. 19, 1951, in Cooperstown, New York, to Ernest H. and Eleanor R. (Cox) Isenor. He grew up in the Coon Rapids, Minnesota area, graduating from Coon Rapids High School on June 5, 1969. Eric was united in marriage to Anita Lindenfelser on March 18, 1972, and they raised four children. He entered military service in the United States Air Force in September of 1975. Eric was stationed at Barford St. John Air Force Base in the United Kingdom, and later served in Turkey. Following his honorable discharge in September of 1975, he returned to Minnesota where he lived several years in Monticello. In 1986, Eric moved to Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, to work as a chemist for Arkema, Inc. Eric was a very talented guitarist and had a wonderful singing voice. He loved singing songs from the 1950-60’s, especially Elvis Presley.

Eric is survived by his children: Jennifer McGillicuddy of Winona, Minnesota, Jamey Isenor of New York, New York, Jeffrey Isenor of Otsego, Minnesota, Jonathan (Laura) Isenor of Faribault, Minnesota; four grandchildren; siblings: Jim Isenor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Bruce Isenor of Montgomery, Minnesota, Robert (Heather) Isenor of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Karen Inderlee of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and sister-in-law Theresa Isenor of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; former wife Anita Isenor of Otsego, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Eleanor Isenor; and his brother Richard Isenor.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, (Assembly Area No. 5).
