According to Dr. Scherger, these extended hours are intended to meet patient demands and provide convenience of care.

“With children in school and often times both parents working, we are seeing an increased need for appointments after 3 p.m.,” Scherger said in a press release. “Trialing an extended hours clinic allows us to learn the potential impacts (positive and negative) to accessing care for children. This is just another way for us to meet our patients health care needs when and where they want it.”
