Youth basketball teams to play at Target Center

Austin and Grand Meadow basketball teams will be representing Minnesota at the Pacesetter Great Four-State Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis this weekend.

The Austin 8th grade boys and the Grand Meadow 8th grade girls will compete against top teams from Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota with games beginning Friday night and finishing on Saturday.

All teams will be attending the Minnesota Lynx game, which will be played against the Phoenix Mercury at 7 p.m. Saturday night.

The Pacesetter Great Four-State championship is a youth basketball playoff system that begins in February and involves over 800 teams in four states.
