Public Broadcasting Service CEO and President Paula Kerger shakes hands Monday with Dr. Ted Hinchcliffe, a section leader at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota in Austin. Kerger heard presentations from Institute Associate Director Dr. Ann Bode and Dr. Ted Hinchcliffe, who leads the Cellular Dynamics research section. She also toured the current cancer research facilities along with the east expansion underway that will add another 20 laboratories for cancer research. Kerger was in Austin for KSMQ Public Television’s “Flip the Switch” ceremony to launch its new high-definition broadcast signal.
