A 24-year-old Burlington, Minnesota, man was airlifted to Mayo Clinic Hospital — St. Marys Campus in Rochester early Friday after a car fell on him.

Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said the man was working on a car at a residence in rural Rose Creek at about 12:30 a.m. when it fell on him. Area first responders and firefighters lifted the car off using a jack and moved the man out from under the car using the piece of cardboard he was laying on.

Amazi said the man’s condition and injuries were unknown.
