MINNEAPOLIS — Police say a man trying to avoid arrest rammed into a patrol car and broke into a Minneapolis home before being coaxed down from the roof hours later.

According to police, the 37-year-old man had multiple felony warrants and was being pursued by U.S. Marshals and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

They spotted him in a vehicle in Minneapolis, and then he hit their car around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and fled.

Two Hennepin County deputies suffered injuries that were not life threatening.
