The Lyle-Pacelli softball team was swept by Mabel-Canton (5-6 overall) by scores of 20-9 and 12-0 in Todd Park Wednesday.

Danielle Hinz hit a home run for LP (1-10 overall, 0-5 SEC) in the first game and Samantha Hinz and Sonia Ramirez each had three hits. Abby Bollingberg had two hits.

“There’s alot of positive things we are doing out there, its not just happening for the whole game,” LP head coach Jeff Yocom said. “These girls keep trying, and if they stick together they will be good down the road.”

Miranda Arkells took the loss in game two for LP and Danielle took the loss in game one.
