MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are investigating a series of shootings that left one man dead and two other men wounded.

A police statement says the incidents appear to be connected and don’t appear to be random.

It says police for a call of a fight just before 1:30 p.m. Monday in north Minneapolis. Officers arrived to find a man dead in the street and another man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. That man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center.

A short time later, a third man was brought in to Hennepin County Medical Center with critical gunshot injuries.

Homicide Investigators continue to pursue leads. Anyone with any information on this case is asked to contact the Minneapolis Police Department.
