The chance to find a job is coming with upcoming workshops open to both local college students and the community.

Riverland Community College’s counseling department will host three Job Search Workshops — one on each campus city: Austin, Albert Lea and Owatonna — on the first three Fridays in April.

Workforce Development Inc. will deliver the information at the sessions.

This May, there will be about 392 Riverland students who will be earning degrees, whether that is a four-credit certificate to become a certified nursing assistant, a diploma in any number of technical programs, or associate degrees. Most of them will be searching for jobs and Riverland Community College and Workforce Development Inc. want to help them with their career journey. The workshops are open to others in the community, including anyone trying to enter the workforce or who is in the middle of a career change.
