Baseball: Packers edged out by Red Wing in extra innings

The Austin baseball team lost 4-3 at Red Wing (5-3 overall) in nine innings Tuesday.

The Packers (1-7 overall, 1-6 Big Nine) didn’t have a hit in the first five and two thirds innings and they trailed 3-0 but they were able to battle back and force extra innings.

“It’s probably the best baseball we’ve played all season long,” Austin head coach Chris Gogolewski said.
