Corey Albert Andrews, 23, of Hollandale, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at home.

Corey was born on January 31, 1992, in Austin, Minnesota, to Richard and Judy (Smith) Andrews. He earned his General Education Degree in October of 2013 graduating at the top of his class.

Corey loved spending time with his niece Rylyn, niece and goddaughter Payton, and his dog Scooter. You could always find Corey working on his many vehicles with his friends. He loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his uncle Gary Smith.

Corey is survived by his parents, Rick and Judy Andrews, Hollandale, Minnesota; brothers: Brandon Andrews (Brooke Fontana), Rochester, Minnesota, Travis Andrews (Amanda Zahradnik), Rochester, Minnesota; sister and brother-in-law: Marissa and Chase Wynns, Rochester, Minnesota; nieces: Rylyn Andrews and Payton Andrews; grandparents: Joan and Jerry Smith, Adams, Minnesota, Marlene Andrews, Appleton, Wisconsin, and Darwin Andrews, Owatonna, Minnesota; Corey’s “Little Girl,” IzaBelle Grace; aunts, uncles; cousins; friends; and beloved pet, Scooter.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg, Minnesota, with Father Swaminatha Pothireddy and Father Ruben Spinler officiating. Interment will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Adams Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.
