Though the weather was frightful, there were only a handful of accidents in Mower County Tuesday.

Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger said area law enforcement dealt with three to four vehicle accidents during a snowstorm and icy conditions earlier this week, but none of the accidents were serious.

Seven people were injured on interstates 35 and 90 near Albert Lea during a bout of freezing rain on Tuesday morning in the area.
