Hayfield senior Jo Bungum scored her 1,000th career point as the Vikings girls basketball team rolled past Cannon Falls (4-12 overall, 1-8 HVL) 62-19 in Hayfield Thursday.

Bungum scored 17 of her 19 points in the first half and her 1,000th point came off of a 3-pointer.

“I’m very proud of her and her accomplishments,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.

Bhrett Zahnle added 12 points for the Vikings (12-4 overall, 7-3 HVL).
