The Austin Bruins let a late lead slip away as they lost 3-2 to the Minot Minotauros (23-8-4 overall) in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Bruins (18-9-9 overall) led 2-1 in the third period when Minot’s Nick Monfils scored a power play goal with 3:46 left to force overtime.

In the shootout, Minot made three of five goals and Austin made two of five goals.

Luke Forfar had both of Austin’s goals in the second period and Jake Kielly had 21 saves for Austin.
