ST. CLOUD— A high-level effort to preserve a commercial air link between St. Cloud and Chicago appears to be coming up short.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis told the St. Cloud Times on Wednesday that SkyWest Airlines is set to suspend its twice-daily flights in April. The flights are between St. Cloud Regional Airport and Chicago O’Hare International.
