While overall home sales were down in southeast Minnesota, there were more homes sold in Mower County this year than in 2013.

Data compiled by ReMax shows 449 homes were sold in Mower County from November 2013 to November 2014, compared to 418 homes the previous year. The average price of homes dropped slightly from about $120,000 to $118,000 in 2014, and area homes were also on the market an average of 115 days, which is two more than in 2013.

About 4,460 homes were sold in the region, down slightly from the 4,492 homes sold in 2013.
