Cornelia T. “Connie” Haines, 100, of Austin, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at Sacred Heart Care Center.

Connie was born Feb. 6, 1914, in Arcadia, Wisconsin, to Christian and Angela (Dascher) Felsheim. She was a school teacher in Trempleau, Wisconsin. On May 27, 1940, she married Evarist “Ebbie” Haines in Arcadia.
Connie was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She loved to sing and garden.
Survivors include four daughters: Catherine (Dick) Auer, Faribault, Minnesota, Suzanne (Wayne) Reed, Newport, Pennsylvania, Marsha (David) Goodge, Flower Mound, Texas, Eva (Doug) Borys, Thiensville, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Buckley, Onalaska, Wisconsin; a brother, Glenn (Kathryn) Felsheim, LaCross, Wisconsin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Evarist; grandson, Thomas Auer; three brothers and two sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Adam McMillan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
