Lyle-Pacelli junior Noah Jiskra had a career-best scoring night as the Athletics opened their season with an 83-53 win over Schaeffer Academy (0-1 overall, 0-1 SEC) in Rochester Tuesday.

Jiskra poured in 30 points and Jordan Hart added 22 points for the Athletics.

“It’s always nice to win your first game,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “You learn a lot about your team and we have a solid group of upper classmen. Jordan and Noah took a good charge tonight and kind of led the way for us.”
