An Austin police officer was placed on paid administrative leave Tuesday after a complaint was made against him or her.

Trish Wiechmann, the city’s human resources director, confirmed an officer was on leave pending an investigation but couldn’t give more details concerning the officer, the allegations or when the complaint was made.
