Packer girls win home cross country invite

The Austin girls cross county team won its seven-team invite and the Packer boys placed fourth at Meadow Greens Golf Course Tuesday.
The Packers tallied a score of 40 and Albert Lea was second with a 59. Austin’s Pation Schwab took second, Abby Lewis was third and Morgan Hose took fifth.

The Austin boys had a score of 76 and Winona won the meet with a 36. Holden Ourada took sixth for the Packers.

Kayla Christopherson, an eighth grader, took sixth for the Pacelli girls as she ran a personal best time of 15:35. Nathan Drees took 35th for the Pacelli boys, who took sixth.
McKenzie Kirtz took fourth place for the GMLOS girls, who took sixth as a team. Peter Torkelson took eighth for the GMLOS boys, who took fifth.
