Mayo Clinic Health System encouraged families to get vaccinated against the flu over the break from school created by the Education Minnesota Professionals Conferences Thursday and Friday.

Children younger than nine require two doses of the flu vaccine one month apart, if it’s the first time they’ve been vaccinated for the flu.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling 507-433-8758.
