Lyle-Pacelli football team falls to Houston

The Lyle-Pacelli football team struggled from the start as it lost 52-14 at Houston (3-4 overall, 3-4 SEC) on the road Friday.

The Hurricanes scored on their first possession and they recovered a squib kick and scored again to take control.

“It got out of hand in a hurry,” LP head coach Jeremy Wilson said. “I think we did as good as we could. We would make some progress and then we wouldn’t be able to score around the end zone. It was frustrating.”

Jordan Cotter had 42 yards rushing and a TD for the Athletics (1-5 overall, 1-5 SEC).
