Letter: Groh right for auditor-treasurer

Published 8:30 am Friday, October 31, 2014

I noticed in the paper the letter to the editor Steven Reinartz for auditor-treasurer and the statement about the disharmony among the workers in the auditor-treasurer’s office. I’m here to tell you that the disharmony is not within the office itself, but from outside sources. The people within the auditor-treasurer’s office are a happy and harmonious group and are extremely happy with Doug Groh’s leadership. Doug is elected by the people and has been for the last 25 years. He’s not elected by the Board of Commissioners or coordinator. He works for the people, not the board.

I’m a neighbor of Doug’s and have been for several years. He’s a good, honest family man and is the only experienced person for this job.

Please elect someone who has the experience and proven track record for this job. This is not the time to elect someone just to shake things up. The auditor-treasurer does not need more chaos by losing Doug Groh.
