Alumni Update: Stoulil starting strong with Icehawks

HOCKEY

Austin grad Marcus Stoulil is in his first year with the Rochester Icehawks (8-0 overall) and he’s played in all eight of the team’s games. Stoulil has four goals and five assists.

Southland grad Alan May had four catches for 75 yards for Winona State University in a 44-24 loss to Minnesota State University Oct. 9.

On the season, May is second on the Warriors (3-3 overall) with 22 catches for 369 yards and three TDs. He has 11 punt returns with an average of 6.7 per return.

The Warriors will play at Upper Iowa Oct. 18 and they will host University of Sioux Falls, S.D. Oct. 25.

Grand Meadow grad Andrew Bell has four tackles in four games for Rochester Community and Technical College.

Bell, a sophomore at RCTC, has one fumble recovery and a pass break-up for the Yellowjackets (4-3 overall).

SOCCER

Austin grad Nicole Lipari has four shot attempts in 11 games at UW-La Crosse (3-4-5 overall).

VOLLEYBALL

Hayfield grad Jessie Foster has played in 23 matches this season for RCTC. Foster, a freshman at RCTC, has 31 set assists, 1 kill and 195 digs for the Yellowjackets (23-3 overall).

Hayfield grad Abby Blanchard had six kills and five digs in a five-game loss for Division II Briar Cliff University (17-6 overall) against Mount Mary Oct. 11.

Blanchard, a junior, had three kills and three digs in a sweep of Dakota State University Oct. 10.
