Leigh Nielsen and Andrew Slowinski, both of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, were married on Sept. 13, 2014, at Oak View Nursery Pumpkin Patch.

Leigh is the daughter of Joann and Steve Nielsen. Her grandparents are Norman and Elvira Nielsen of LeMars, Iowa and the late Claude and Lucy Boender, of Shelden, Iowa.

She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 2007, and from Rochester Community College in 2012 with a degree in surgical technology. Leigh is currently employed with Owatonna Hospital.

Andrew is the son of Deidre and Jeff Slowinski. Grandparents are Paul and Barb Slowinksi of Owatonna, Minnesota and Deanna Arndt of Austin, Minnesota and the late Emil (Dude) Arndt of Austin, Minnesota.

He graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 2007 and is currently employed with Vavra Farms.

The couple resides in Blooming Prairie.
