The Austin Public Schools Board is looking to increase the district’s 2015 tax levy by 5.55 percent.

The board will discuss levy certifications during its meeting at 4 p.m. Monday at the District Office Conference Room, which was postponed from the last meeting due to the levy calculations sitting unfinished with the Minnesota Department of Education.

The 2014 levy sits at $6,515,498 and looks to increase by $361,675, to sit at $6,877,173 for 2015. The board must approve a preliminary levy by the end of the month.
