No. 1 ranked Superlarks topple Mabel-Canton

The top-ranked Superlarks certainly looked the part as they rolled past Mabel-Canton (2-2 overall, 2-2 SEC) 47-6 in Mabel Friday.

The Superlarks racked up 416 yards and they held MC to just four yards of offense. GM started strong as Landon Jacobson, who ran for 157 yards and three scores, broke a 59-yard TD on his first carry of the game.

Five players scored for the Larks (3-0 overall, 3-0 SEC) as Michael Stejskal, Connor Hartson, Christopher Bain and Blake Olson all found the end zone.

“It was good and we were able to score pretty quickly. I thought the first team came out real good in the first quarter. In the second quarter we got a little bit sloppy,” GM head coach Gary Sloan said. “I think we did a better job at the line of scrimmage compared to what we did a week ago.”
