The Lyle-Pacelli volleyball team took fourth place at the Southland tournament Saturday.

The Athletics (6-9 overall) beat Kingsland 25-19, 25-19, they lost to Alden-Conger 27-25, 21-25, 15-10, they beat Schaeffer Academy 25-23, 25-21, they lost to Southland 25-17, 21-25, 15-9 and they lost to Alden Conger in the third place match 25-19, 25-19.

“Now that we have out full line-up back, it was nice to get a number of games in during the tournament and I hope to build off those games as we have some tough conference matches coming up over the next couple weeks,” LP head coach Lindsay Leif said.

Courtney Walter had 73 set assists on the day for LP and Sarah Holtz had 39 kills.
