Blooming Prairie volleyball team takes 15th in Class A Showcase

The Blooming Prairie volleyball team finished 15th out of 16 teams at the Class A Showcase Tournament in Burnsville Friday and Saturday.
BP (12-10 overall) lost to Martin County West 23-25, 25-16, it fell to New Life Academy 25-15, 21-25, and it lost to Dawson-Boyd 25-22, 30-28 in pool play.
In bracket play, BP lost to Heritage Christian 25-19, 25-18, it lost to Southwest Minnesota Christian 25-17, 20-25, 15-8 and it beat Nevis 22-25, 25-20, 15-12.
“Although we suffered some losses in these past few days, they are losses that should make us better in the long run,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said.
