Carla Felten, of Austin, Minnesota, and Luke Berg, of Austin, Minnesota have announced their engagement.

Carla, the daughter of Bill and Rose Felten of Austin, graduated from Austin High School in 2004 and completed the Nursing program at Riverland Community College. She is currently completing her BSN and masters degrees with Augsburg College. She works at Mayo Medical Center, St. Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Luke, the son of Randy and Debi Berg of Austin graduated from Austin High School and completed both his AA and AS degrees in automotive repair at Riverland Community College. He also has a degree in horticulture from Rochester Community and Technical College. He works in the family business at Berg’s Nursery and Landscaping.

Carla’s grandparents are John and Barb Felten of Rose Creek, Minnesota, and Anita Adams of Stacyville, Iowa. Luke’s grandparents are Lincoln and Donna Cole of Austin.

The couple plans to wed on Oct. 4, 2014, and will continue to reside in Austin.
