Three Austin residents are in Mower County jail for various drug-related offenses after they were pulled over during a traffic stop at 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said a 28-year-old woman, 50-year-old man, and 22-year-old woman were all taken into custody.

The 28-year-old was arrested for third-degree felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to flee an officer on foot after police found 5.2 grams of methamphetamine on her. The woman also had a felony drug warrant from Mower County and a Hennepin County warrant for failing to pay for a taxi, according to Krueger. Krueger said police had looked for the woman for at least a month.
