Susan Mari Ramaker was born May 20, 1953, in Cresco, Iowa, to Marie (Hansen) Ramaker and Delmar Ramaker. She passed away July 22, 2014, at St. Mark Nursing Home.

Sue had various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed game shows, watching birds and loved animals. She was known as the “cockatiel lady.”

She is survived by her mother, Marie Ramaker (Dick Riles) of Lansing; her children Theresa (Mike) Maas of Dexter, and Justin (Heather) Pater of Glenville. Grandchildren Brittany Maas, and Jocelyn and Hailey Pater; her brother Jeff (Georgia) Ramaker of Lyle; sister-in-law Cindy Ramaker of Austin, and many aunts, uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Delmar Ramaker; her brother Delmar “Butch” Ramaker; her sister, Sally Ann; her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, at Chester Hill Cemetery.
