Austin eighth grade boys basketball team takes third in Great 4 State tourney

The Austin 8th grade boys basketball team took third place at the Great 4 State Pacesetter Tournament held this past weekend at Target Center. The top 2 teams from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa all competed in this tournament. In the first game, Austin beat Gregory, S.D. 41-24. In game two, Austin lost to eventual champion Mt. Pleasant, Ia 41-30. In game 3, Austin beat Fargo, N.D. 50-29 for third place.
