Mower County may be in for more rainfall this weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for more showers and thunderstorms Friday through Monday. A few of these thunderstorms could become severe Saturday night through Sunday. Damaging winds, large hail and flash flooding could affect the area.

There’s an 80 percent chance of showers on Friday and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday night.

Meteorologists say there could be a few showers and thunderstorms on Saturday morning, with thunderstorms likely Saturday afternoon and evening.

Sunday’s forecast includes showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m., followed by partly sunny weather and a high of 86. Thunderstorms are likely Sunday night into Monday.
