The Riverland Community College softball team was recently named the NAIA Academic Team of the Year.

The Blue Devils’ cumulative GPA was 3.14. The team included Miriah Carruth, Rayna Eckmann, Brooke Erickson, Danielle Groepper, Rebecca Kopp, Samantha LeMay, Cortney Perrin, Amy Reinhardt, Ashley Sanderson, Laura Siegfried, Lexie Schunke and Jamie Williamson.

This is the first time this award has been won in RCC school history.
