In the past year, our affiliate has seen a lot of really exciting change and sure signs of growth. This year we set a goal to increase the number of homes we build, along with the number of exterior home renovation projects we take on. We have families selected and are eager to begin working on their homes, but we are noticing that the more we grow the more gaps we are seeing in our affiliate’s operations. The dedication of our volunteers is what makes it possible for us to carry out our mission to eliminate poverty housing in Freeborn and Mower Counties.

We have some specific needs for volunteers right now, which would include ReStore maintenance, office duties, construction, fund development committee, church relations committee, public relations committee, and volunteer relations committee.

In addition, we are always open to entertaining new ideas and innovative ways of getting things done, so if you have some extra time this year we truly hope that you will consider donating it to Habitat for Humanity’s mission in your community.
