Best Bets: From fathers to a flea market

There is tons of fun planned this weekend with baseball, Father’s Day food and an annual flea market. With all that’s going on, there’s sure to be something to float your boat.

1. Flea Market

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Mower County Fairgrounds

The 11th Annual Three Rivers Days Antiques-Flea Market returns starting Friday. Admission is free, parking is free, and the market will be open rain or shine. 2. Father’s Day Meal

11:30 a.m., Friday, Mower County Senior Center.

Bring a friend or spoil the father in your life with a lovely lunch and entertainment.

There’s a choice of either Windsor pork chop with veggie and potato, for $9.50, or lasagna with garlic toast for $8.50. Both come with salad and your choice of dessert. Register by stopping by the Senior Center or call 507-433-2370.

3. Anyone for baseball?

All day, Saturday, Riverland Baseball Complex

The 31st annual Fraternal Order of the Eagles/Austin All Stars for ages 14 and under tournament will be held all day at the Riverland Baseball Complex. For more information, call 507-433-6715 or 507-279-3681.

4. More baseball

1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Marcusen Park

The Austin Greyhounds vs. Hampton Cardinals baseball game will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Marcusen Park. For more information, go to www.austingrey houndsbaseball.com.

5. Dancing with the Stars

When: 7 p.m., Saturday June 14, Austin High School Knowlton Auditorium

The 13th annual Dancing with the Stars recital is back. The recital will be presented by Bridget’s Dance Conservatory.

6. Fiddler on the Roof

7:00 p.m. June 15, 7:30 p.m. June 16-21 at Frank W. Bridges Theatre, Riverland Community College, Austin Campus

One of Broadway’s most beloved shows comes to Austin. In the village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his daughters with the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores.
