The Austin Greyhounds started strong, but they couldn’t finish things in a 7-3 loss to Chaseburg/Coon Valley in Marcusen Park Friday night.

The Hounds (2-3 overall) scored three runs in the bottom of the first when Matt Cano knocked in a run and Zach Schara had a two-RBI hit.

CCV pulled within two 3-2 in the fourth and it took the lead for good when it scored two more runs in the fifth.
