The Blooming Prairie softball team trailed early on, but it bounced back to knock off No. 5 seeded Alden-Conger 9-8 in the Section 1A West quarterfinals in BP Monday.

The Awesome Blossoms (9-8 overall) scored a pair of runs off of passed balls in the sixth inning to take the lead for good.

BP will now play at top-seeded Hayfield Wednesday at 5 p.m.
