Blooming Prairie softball team falls to Maple River 14-3

The Blooming Prairie softball team hadn’t played in 13 days, and it showed some rust as it lost 14-3 in five innings at Maple River (7-4 overall) Thursday.

The Awesome Blossoms (5-3 overall) had beaten MR 9-8 in their season opener, but they lost to MR 13-3 in a recent tournament.

“We did not play well,” BP head coach Ali Mach said.
