A jury convicted an Austin man Thursday of sexually assaulting a girl.

Paul Omol Arkangelo Uchodu, 41, was found guilty in Mower County Court for first-degree criminal sexual conduct for multiple acts with a victim younger than 16. He was acquitted of a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim younger than 13.

According to the court complaint and victim, Uchodu forced the victim into sexual acts over the past several years in Austin when the victim’s mother was not home.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 18.
