There will be rabbits galore in Austin this weekend.

Cedar River Rabbit Club will put on its 21st annual show on April 26, 2014 at the Mower County Fairgrounds, Austin, Minn. There will be about 200 participants showing from five states with about 1,250 rabbits from breeds such as American Fuzzy Lop, Californian, Dutch, Dwarf Hotot, Flemish Giant, Havana, Holland Lop, Jersey Wooly, Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Mini Satin, Netherland Dwark, New Zealand, Polish, Rex, Satin, Silver Fax and Silver Marten.

Judging begins at 8:30 a.m. with awards presented for Best in Show, first through third place in each class, Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex. Show judges are Theresa Christen, of Wisconsin, Rosa Fields, of Nebraska, Mark Fronning, of North Dakota, Ruby Rezac, of South Dakota, Steve Zaruba, of Iowa and Richard Steinberg, of Minnesota.
