Norman Ambrose Danielson, 79, passed away on April 18, 2014, at Homestead Hospice in Owatonna.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home (1603 Austin Road) and one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday April 22, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery in Grand Meadow.

Norm Danielson was born on June 23, 1934, to Pete and Lillian Danielson in Caledonia, Minn., where he grew up until he married his wife Marlene in 1960 they lived in Austin before settling in Owatonna in 1989.

Norm worked for Milwaukee Rail Road. He enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with family and looked forward to a morning cup a coffee at Cash Wise with his friends.

He is survived by six daughters, Kim (Peter) McElhinney, Raleigh, N.C., Tammy (Del) Mees, Dexter, MN, Michelle (Mike) Mohrfeld, Baxter, Minn., Jan (Scott) Minnich, Melissa (Doug) VandenBerg, and Misty (James) Devoe, all of Owatonna; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
